How to post Pics

Hey there everyone! Cool

Here's a little tutorial on how to post pics if the occasion ever occurs!

Your pic unforunately can't be just slapped on a forum and called a day. You'll need to add some code to either end of the pic's website link in order for it to work! Still confused, it's not all that hard, really!

Here's a website link of the pic I wanted to use:

Now to get the pic on the forum, go into either posting a new topic or replying to a topic first. Once in the window where you can type what you want, up top there are icons. You want to click on the top, far right icon, last on the end labeled "Host an Image"

This opens up a window that will give you the option to browse your computer for the pic or use a URL. In this case, we want to use an URL listed above.

Copy the link in the window and click upload, this will create two options for you. Thumbnail or Image. Copy and paste the new link from the IMAGE box and paste it in your post.

From there, it should all work out and you'll see your beautiful piece of stolen photography in your post!

** If anyone is used to just slapping

on their pic links for it to work, this site is bugged for some reason and it won't work! Just live with it! **

Yes, i'll make it into a sticky, seeing as new members will often want to post new pictures and things onto here, but please remember to keep the images small, the images already posted by you are fine^^

There are also other ways that you can link to pictures/sites or anything like this, and not only by putting [url]*insert website here*[/url] or using many of the other links that, but you can put it as words.

Here's an example;

[url=*insert direct link/URL here*]
Then, just so i can section it, and show you without the link working, put;
*names wanted for the link after the above^^*[url]
Obviously removing the stars, but make sure it's the URL in the top bar where the address of the site is^^

Now, sorry if it sounds slightly confusing, but i'm still learning how i'm s'posed to explain this.

And yes, i will sticky this, but next time you post in this subject, make sure it's a question of some sort about the forum/working the forum etc.
